Commonwealth Shared Scholarships
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarships 2023 and Fellowships are one of the world’s largest and most prestigious scholarship programs. Commonwealth Scholarships provide students with full funding for their studies in the United Kingdom. Full-time master’s degrees are available. There is no application fee since they do not charge one. In partnership with selected UK universities, the Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are funded by the UK government.
Over 30,000 Commonwealth Scholarships or Fellowships have been awarded since 1959, of which 28,500 have been funded by the UK government through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the Government of the United Kingdom.
Scholarships in the UK are available without IELTS under Commonwealth Scholarships. There are fields available in all categories. There have been 27,800 applications for Commonwealth Scholarships so far. Around 700 scholarships and fellowships are awarded each year by the CSC to Commonwealth citizens for postgraduate study and professional development. Commonwealth Master Scholarships last one year. Scholarship Coverage
- Airfare tickets approved from the United States to the United Kingdom and return from the United Kingdom at the end of your award period.
- Full tuition fees have been approved.
- Stipend of £1,110 per month or £1,362 per month for students studying at universities in the London metropolitan area (fees based on 2020-2021 levels)
- Allowance for warm apparel, if applicable
- Funding for thesis fees
- Free study tours are also available in other countries or within the UK

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for these scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:
- You have been granted refugee status by a Commonwealth country.
- You must be a permanent resident of a Commonwealth country
- In September/October 2021, you must be able to begin your academic studies in the UK, or remotely if necessary.
- It is necessary to have a second-class degree, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate degree.
- It is the first time the applicants have studied outside of Europe.

- The study’s potential impact on the candidate’s home country
