There are 382 Brown scholar graduates and 212 Brown scholars who are enrolled in the univeristy for their graduate degree program in the 2023-24 academic year. The students who are a part of the scholarship have a GPA of 3.87 and 140 students have a 4.0 GPA for the academic year 2022-23. The more than 100 students have a 4.0 CGPA in their degree for the academic year 2022-23. So the eligible candidates will get a chance to win the scholarship and they can use the amount for different educational purposes.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the scholarship it is important for the students to follow the eligibility criteria so you must be among the selected students.
- The students must have US Citizenship and a permanent resident, or graduate of an accredited US high school
- They must have a national merit semifinalist or finalist
- The students must apply or enroll in any of the degree programs at Texas A&M.
- must get a Texas A&M President’s Endowed Scholarship
- The students must have a minimum 1450 combined SAT score or a 34 composite ACT score
- The students must plan or enroll at Texas A&M for the fall semester after they have compiled their high school graduation
- The students must apply for a STEM or Business major at one of the following Colleges: Engineering, Science, Ag & Life Sciences, Biomedical Science & Veterinarian Medicine, Public Health, or Mays Business School
- They also have two reference letters that they have to submit with the application form.
The Craig & Galen Brown Foundation award scholarship program is announced for high school students who are national merit semifinalists. The candidates who apply for the scholarship must have:

- Leadership positions

When you are enrolled in Texas A&M University, Brown Foundation Scholars are the major scholars who receive a number of scholarships and awards during their univeristy experience that are:
- Rhodes, Truman, Marshall, and Goldwater Scholar recipients or finalists
- Student Body President and Officers
- MSC President and Officers
- Senior Class President and Officers
- Student Engineering Council President and Officers
- Outstanding Senior Engineering Award
