Scholarships for undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral studies are available through the Islamic Development Scholarship Program. IsDB Scholarships do not require an application fee. All expenses will be covered by the Islamic Development Bank Scholarship. This is one of the most prestigious scholarships of the year.
Undergraduate, Master, Ph.D., and Postdoctoral Research Programs, as well as Vocational Training Programs are covered under the ISDB Scholarship 2023. Female and male students are encouraged to apply for ISDB Scholarships. The world’s most prestigious universities will be your classrooms.

IsDB Scholarship Benefits
The Islamic Development Bank offers a fully funded scholarship for international students. Expenses for undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral studies will be covered.
- A monthly stipend that is commensurate with the cost of living in the country of study.
- If any tuition fees are charged, they are subject to IsDB’s approval.
- The cost of medical treatment at a university or government hospital.
- Students selected to study abroad at partnered universities/countries will receive economy class return air tickets, as well as installation and equipment allowances.
- Allowances for other expenses
- Allowances for thesis preparation

Eligibility Criteria For Undergraduate, Master & Ph.D., Post Doc:
- Citizens of any IsDB member country or Muslim communities living in non-member countries.
- Undergraduate applicants must have completed senior secondary education (or the equivalent of 12 years of education).
- Graduating with a grade above “Good” in his/her bachelor’s degree.
- The PhD program requires a master’s degree in one of the fields of study.
- The postdoctoral fellow must hold a PhD in one of the program’s approved fields. Experience in the field of at least two (2) years.
- No other scholarship has been awarded.
- Medical fitness and willingness to undergo medical tests are required upon selection.
