SSP Scholarship Benefits

Some of the available benefits under the scholarship program are as follows. You can apply and get the benefits:

• The candidates who are enrolled in the master’s degree will get INR 8000 for their coursework and research work.
• The candidates who are enrolled in the Ph.D. degree will get INR 10,000 for their coursework and research work.
• The students will get enough amount that they can manage their educational expenses in the given amount such as tuition fees, books/materials, etc.

SSP Departments:

• The social welfare Department
• Tribal Welfare Department
• Backward Classes Department
• Minority Welfare Department

Eligibility Criteria:

The students have to follow the criteria separately for the post-matric and pre-matric scholarship scheme. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

Post-Matric:

• The candidates must belong to SC, OBC, ST, or any other minority group. The scholarship is available for only the mentioned categories.
• There will be a quota for the female candidates.
• Applicants must have 50% marks in the last degree program. If you have less than 50% marks then your application will not be accepted.
• The applicant’s family yearly income must be below 2 lac INR if their income is more than the given amount their application will not be accepted.
• The students must have a Karnataka domicile.
• The candidates must apply for class 11, class 12, BCom, or ITI courses. 

Pre-Matric:

• The candidates must belong to SC, OBC, ST, or any other minority group. The scholarship is available for only the mentioned categories.
• There will be a quota for the female candidates.

1. College Registration Number / Students SATS ID.
2. Aadhaar Number.
3. Mobile Number.
4. National Scholarship Portal ID.
5. Income / Caste / EWS Certificate number in the name of the student.
6. e-Attestation Numbers.
7. Disability Card Number.
8. FRUITS ID(Applicable for students who are children of farmer/s).
9. Email ID.
10. attestation of fee receipts is not required for all students studying in Karnataka.

Notification

• The last date for applying for a post-scholarship scholarship for the Department of Backward Welfare- is 30 June 2023.
• Last date for applying for the post-scholarship for matriculation of the Department of Social Welfare: is 30 June 2023.
• Last date for applying for a post-scholarship in the Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department: is 30 June 2023.
• Last date for applying for a scholarship for Matriculation of Minority Welfare Department: is 30 June 2023.
• Last date for applying for Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board Matric Post Scholarship: is 30 June 2023.
• Last date for applying for a post-matric scholarship to the Department of Technical Education: is 30 June 2023.
• Last date for applying for a post-scholarship for Matriculation of Disability Welfare Department: is 30 June 2023.

Procedure to apply for Karnataka SSP Scholarship 2023:

The candidates who have to apply follow the given procedure:

• If you already apply for a scholarship in the previous year then you don’t have to register yourself. Otherwise, register yourself on the website.
• Login to the website and start your scholarship application.
• Make sure you have all the documents that are mandatory for the scholarship.
• Submit your application with all the details that are mandatory for the scholarship.
