The Peter F Vallone Scholarship Scholarship which is known as the New York City Council merit scholarship is announced for the students of High school graduates who have brilliant grades when they are in high school. The students are eligible to get a scholarship of up to $700 per year and $350 per semester. - The students who have US Citizenship or noncitizen who are eligible to apply

- The students must have completed their graduation degree from New York City High School and have a minimum GPA of 80 B.
- After completing your high school degree you must start your full-time studies at a CUNY college
- You must be a part of high school as a full-time student and have to maintain a GPA of 3.0.
- Before your post-secondary institute, you must have to attend CUNY.
Pursuit and Progress:
- You have to Maintain continuous full-time enrollment (12 credits) within the City University of New York system.
- The students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 which is calculated at the end of the spring semester every year.
- The students who are enrolled in an associate degree are also eligible to apply for the Peter F Vallone Scholarship for a maximum of six semesters. The students who are enrolled in bachelor’s degrees are eligible to get the scholarship for up to eight semesters.
- The students if they didn’t get an award for one semester are not eligible to get it in the next semester.
