Eligibility criteria for Google Ph.D. Fellowship Program:
The students who want to apply for the fellowship have to follow the following eligibility criteria:
- The candidates will be selected by their own country institutes.
- All applicants must be from the announced countries.
- The students must enroll in a Ph.D. degree program as full-time students
- Students from Africa, India, and Southeast Asia enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or master’s program are eligible to apply for the fellowship.
- Applicant must complete their graduate coursework before applying for the fellowship program.
- Only one member of the family is eligible to apply for the fellowship program.
- If you are enrolled in any other award then you are not eligible to apply for the Google fellowship program.
Required Documents
The students who are applying for the fellowship have to submit the following documents. The documents are mentioned with the name of the country:
India and Southeast Asia:
- CV (must include links to publications and websites).
- CV (1 page).
- Transcripts
- Letters of recommendation (2-3).
- Research proposal including references (Maximum 8 pages).
For Africa only:
- Student’s essay response (maximum 350 words).
- Short resume.
