MEXT (UR) Scholarship: What is it?
Scholarships in Japanese universities are offered by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT).
There are three types of MEXT Scholarships:
| Bachelor Students | Applicants who have completed 12 years of schooling in a country other than Japan. |
| Master’s course | Students who have completed 16 years of schooling in countries other than Japan. |
| Doctoral Course: | Students who have completed 18 years of education in a country other than Japan are eligible to apply. |
