Eligibility Criteria:

To avail the opportunity you have to submit your application by following the eligibility criteria given below:

The students must enrolled in college, university, or post-secondary. The students must apply for the undergraduate degree program. The students who are going to apply for master’s degree are also eligible to submit the application for the scholarship. The scholarship is available for students who have to start their educational degree for the academic year 2024-25.
The Stantec equity and diversity scholarship is specially designed for students who are enrolled in STEAM disciplines. Some of these courses are Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Architecture, and Mathematics. This comprises of many fields, including biology, computer science, civil engineering, fine arts, and more. The candidates who are choosing STEM as a major are also eligible to apply.
The scholarship is available for students are belong to some underrepresented population or group. The candidates must identify as BIPOC Black, Indigenous, and People of Color members of the LGBTQ2+ community, people with disabilities, veterans, first-generation college students, and others who have historically been underrepresented in these fields.

What you receive As A Award:

The candidates who apply for the Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship will have a chance to get a scholarship up to $1,500 and $10,000. Furthermore, you also have a chance to get involved in the internships as they also provide 10 paid internships for all the selected applicants.

Documents Required:

Some of the basic documents that you need for your scholarship application are as follows:

Unofficial Transcripts: You have to take your unofficial transcript from your school and able to submit it in any format.
official Transcripts: Make sure you have all your official transcripts such as last year’s degree and much more. You have to submit your documents in .pdf, .tif, .png, .jpeg, .jpg, .bmp, and .xps.
Secondary School Record: Submit your document for incoming first or second-year post-secondary students.
Post-Secondary School Record: incoming first or second-year post-secondary students.
Official Financial Government Documentation: There are some of the documents that the department demands from you at the time of scholarship. So you have to collect all the documents before the scholarship application.

First, you have to log in to the website and create an account. Then you have to click on the option Apply Here. Your application process will start.
Create an account. If you already have an ISTS account then login to the website. If you don’t have an ISTS account then you have to register yourself for the account.
Now you are on the homepage of the website and you have to add a new application. Enter the Program Key StantecED and click “Apply Now.”
Fill out your application with all the details that are mentioned in the scholarship application and you have to submit your application and attach all the necessary documents.

Disbursement of Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship Funds:

After submission of your application for scholarship you will receive a notification. The candidates will be informed when their scholarship issued. The process for receiving the scholarship depends upon the location and your educational institute.

For US College/University Students

Candidates will get their scholarship in one check.
They will receive their scholarship in late July 2024.
The students will get thier scholarship at thier doorstep. Thye will mail your scholarship to you.
After getting the scholarship check you have to deliver it to the official at your college.

For Canadian and International College/University Students:

The students Scholarship funds are distributed through one electronic wire transfer.
The students will receive their scholarship in late July 2024.
The students funds are sent to the university account which you given to ISTS when you are receiving your awards.
