The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships 2023 – Fully Funded

The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships 2023 are now open for applications. Full Scholarship provided by the Brunei Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Brunei Government Scholarships can be used to pursue a full-time diploma, undergraduate degree, or postgraduate master’s degree program. Brunei Scholarships are funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for international students. 300 Brunei Scholarships will be awarded in 2023. The scholarship program covers all expenses.

Applicants from any country and of any nationality are eligible to apply. All applicants are eligible to apply for free. There is no application fee. The academic year starts in July/August 2023. There is no requirement for an English Language Test like IELTS. 

Under the Brunei Darussalam Scholarship, there are four universities participating. Brunei scholarship 2023 offers all academic fields & majors. Full-time Undergraduate, Diploma, and Postgraduate Master Degree Scholarships are available. Please find below detailed information about the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2023.

About Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2023

Scholarship Duration:

• Diploma: 3 Years
• Undergraduate Degree: 8 Semester (4 Year Full Time)
• Master Degree: 12 Months, 24 Months

Financial Coverage

Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships are fully funded scholarships for international students to study in Brunei. They cover all the expenses.

• Students are exempt from paying tuition fees, including acceptance, examination, registration and orientation fees.
• Round-trip Economy Class Air Ticket to and from Brunei Darussalam 
• Personal Allowance of BND$500.00 per month
• Personal Allowance of BND$150.00 per month
• A book allowance of BND$600.00 per year
• Accommodations at the Polytechnic/University Residential College
• Baggage allowance for the shipment of the scholarship recipient’s personal effects to his country of origin/country of residence upon completion of the program, with a maximum amount of:

• BND$250.00 to a country in the ASEAN region
• BND$500.00 to a country outside of ASEAN

• Comprehensive insurance coverage for the duration of the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

• You may apply if you are a citizen of an ASEAN, Commonwealth, or OIC member country, but not exclusively.
• For Undergraduate and Diploma programs, applicants must be between the ages of 18-25.
• The student’s age cannot exceed 35 years on the 31st of July 2021 for postgraduate master’s degree programs.
• Brunei Darussalam Permanent Residents are not eligible for this award.
