Requirements to apply for an Uzbekistan Visa

  • Uzbekistan Visa Application Form (printed on the country’s letterhead if invited by a company or organization)
  • Completed electronic visa form
  • Applicant’s passport
  • Airline ticket (only if arriving at Tashkent airport)
  • for individual sponsors, the host’s passport (photocopy)
  • For individual sponsors, Evidence of a relationship with the host
  • For Company sponsors, the passport of the head of the company (photocopy)
  • For company sponsors, the License and certificate of the company
  • For Company sponsors, a copy of the “Power of Attorney” for the authorized person
  • Guest’s employment certificate
  • Passport sized photographs
  • Evidence of onward travel (for transit purposes)

Applying through an Embassy for an Uzbekistan Visa

To obtain an Uzbek visa, applicants are required to follow a two-part application process.

  1. Firstly, they must secure visa confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via a sponsor in Uzbekistan. The confirmation letter is a crucial part of the application process and can be obtained from the inviting party, an authorized tour agency, or a company/organization.
  2. Following this, applicants can apply for the visa at the Embassy/Consulate either in person or via post, based on the specific requirements of the relevant consular office.

Procedure

  • Visit the official eVisa website for Uzbekistan
  • Fill out the application form, providing personal information and travel details
  • Upload a scanned copy of your passport and a passport-sized photo
  • Pay the visa fee using a credit or debit card
  • Wait for the eVisa to be processed and approved, which can take up to 3 business days
  • Once approved, download and print out the eVisa
  • Present the eVisa at the immigration checkpoint upon arrival in Uzbekistan

  • For eVisa: 3 working days
