Norfolk State Univeristy has announced a fully funded Virginia College Affordability Network (VCAN) Scholarship. The NSU VCAN scholarship initiative will give you tuition fee funding to Pell-eligible first-year students. Eligible candidates must have 45 miles proximity of NSU’s campus. The students who are from Newport News, Norfolk, and Portsmouth are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarships are announced for the local students who are not able to get access to college and will get limited financial assistance and make sure that students will get their education.
The NSU VCAN scholarship started a mission of a national college access network. Through this mission, they have decided to build, strengthen, and empower communities that are controlled to college access and success. NSU is announced for all college students who are from the community.
